K voz\u016fm ta\u017een\u00fdm ko\u0148mi byly p\u0159id\u00e1ny koleje, kter\u00e9 umo\u017e\u0148ovaly lep\u0161\u00ed vyu\u017eit\u00ed s\u00edly a omezily ztr\u00e1tovost. Ve stolet\u00ed p\u00e1ry po objevu parn\u00edho stroje byli kon\u011b nahrazeni p\u00e1rou a vznik\u00e1 parn\u00ed lokomotiva, kter\u00e1 jezdila a\u017e do ned\u00e1vna. Dnes ji\u017e v\u011bt\u0161ina z n\u00e1s vlastn\u00ed benzinov\u00fd, naftov\u00fd nebo elektrick\u00fd automobil. I zde ale m\u016f\u017ee doch\u00e1zet k postupn\u00e9mu vylep\u0161ov\u00e1n\u00ed.
